Our funders and partners

We are an independent charity

Citizens Advice is a national charity with offices in England and Wales.

All Citizens Advice Bureaux are independent charities that have to manage their own funding needs. Whilst we receive substantial funding from the local authority and other public bodies, we also rely on charitable grants and donations from individuals and corporations to continue to offer a service to the community we serve.

We work in partnership with funders and other organisations to ensure that we offer the services our clients need.  Examples of past projects and fundraisers are:

NHS funding information, advice, signposting and casework for mental health patients

KCC funding debt, benefit and intensive casework for client with mental health problems

Big Lottery project working in close partnership with local charities to provide training to staff and support workers as well as casework for clients with complex needs

UK Power Networks project helping the community to make better use of energy deals
